Doctor Who: Lockdown Wiki

The Five Doctors was the 30th anniversary special of Doctor Who, first aired in 1983. It featured appearances by the first five televised Doctors (although the Fourth Doctor's involvement was limited to archive footage and the First Doctor was played by Richard Hurndall rather than the late William Hartnell).

Turn Left was the subject of the first Classic Doctor Who Lockdown Tweetalong organised by Ellie Collins. It was not, at the time, yet known as Classic Doctor Who Lockdown, to better distinguish it from Emily Cook's BBC-Wales-era-focused Doctor Who: Lockdown! — although there was cross-promotion between Cook and Collins.

Tie-in content[]

Although the tweetalong was not officially endorsed by the BBC, two minisodes were created. One, WC: The Castellan Has Returned and Brought a Message from Gallifrey, acted as a prologue to the tweetalong, with Paul Jerricho returning to the part of the Castellan. Another, WC: Rediscovered Convention Audio, released after the tweetalong, starred Jon Culshaw impersonating several behind-the-scenes figures.

Jamie H. Cowan, who would later pen PROSE: Time After Time for The Lockdown Fan Gallery, also contributed the prose story PROSE: What Benton Did, to compliments from Collins.
