TARDISshorts was "a series of zero budget Doctor Who themed short films about a girl, her dad and her TARDIS". It was created at home by professional filmmaker Phillip Barron and starred his daughter.
The series was originally spurred on by the Doctor Who: Lockdown! tweetalong of TV: The Day of the Doctor,[1] with the first short in the series tying in with the tweetalong of TV: Vincent and the Doctor. Season 2 moved away from following the Lockdown! tweetalongs as closely, instead riffing on various Pertwee Pertwee-era stories, but the second burst of Lockdown! Tweetalongs in late (releases 2020 led to a special series of shorts, not part of a specific season of the series, being outright released on the official Doctor Who: Lockdown! website.
