Nardole's Very Bad Day was a short story written by E. J. Robinson. It was the first of the ten prose stories submitted by fans to the Doctor Who: Lockdown! as part of the 2020 The Husbands of River Song tweetalong to receive an official release on the Lockdown! website.
Subtitled "A prologue to The Husbands of River Song", the story followed Nardole's day leading up to the Christmas Eve which sees him knock at the doors of the Doctor's TARDIS for the first time in the pre-credits sequence of the TV episode.
