Alice was a young human girl who owned a TARDIS. She and her Dad often used it to travel through Time and Space, getting into scrapes in the process; although he was an adult and she was not, the timeship emphatically belonged to her, and she wasn't afraid to sometimes put her Dad back in his place. She was an ardent fan of Doctor Who.
Biography[]
At home: dealing with Dad[]
After Alice's Dad borrowed her TARDIS, she watched him rematerialise it over the door to a room. When he stepped out with a Van Gogh, she confronted him about his reckless and selfishly-motivated meddling with history and told him to go back to century 19th century France and put it back where he'd found it. She also told him to be back by 7, as, at that time, Doctor Who would be on. (WC: A Little Souvenir)
As the two waited on the couch for Doctor Who to air (which it would do several hours later), Alice's Dad grew impatient. He decided to steal the TARDIS again to try to see if he could skip over the wait. He had some difficulty driving the ship through the Vortex, and, when he stepped out, was faced with a woman who claimed to be Alice, thirty years older. After she sent him back to his “box”, however, it transpired that this was actually a different person who had been enlisted by the child Alice to play a trick on her Dad. While travelling alone aboard her TARDIS through the Vortex Time Vortex, Alice detected a distress call. Tracking down its source, she stepped out of her TARDIS to find what she was able to recognise with certainty as a Hypercube after scanning it with her sonic screwdriver.
However, the Hypercube turned out to have been left there by House, a malevolent disembodied spirit, to invader and possess her Ship while she was distracted. Alice tricked House into thinking a Hypercube would make a superior vessel to a TARDIS, leading to him transferring himself into his own Hypercube and remaining trapped there while Alice dematerialised back into the Vortex.
