A Hunter's Bounty was a short story written by Philip Scholes. It was the eighth of the nine prose stories submitted by fans to the Doctor Who: Lockdown! as part of the Robot of Sherwood tweetalong to receive an official release on the Doctor Who: Lockdown! website.

- The Tenth Doctor compares attempting to murder Robin Hood to attempting to kill Richard Poole or attempting to ride a sleigh with Santa Claus. The Twelfth Doctor would go on to do the latter in TV: Last Christmas.

- This story takes place concurrently with the events of Robot of Sherwood, with the alien element being witnessed within Sherwood by Grett heavily implied to be related with the Sheriff of Nottingham and his robots.
